Important Booking Information

  • Telehealth appointments are available for patients who cannot attend the clinic in person. These sessions are conducted by our Nurse Practitioner and may not be eligible for Medicare rebates.

  • If you’re new to Wildleaf, please select the practitioner whose approach best suits your needs. If you’re unsure who to book with, our reception team is happy to help — simply call the clinic and we’ll guide you to the right practitioner for your situation.

  • To ensure safe and continuous care, please always book your follow-up appointment with your original prescribing doctor. Having multiple prescribers involved in a Schedule 8 treatment can create complications, so staying with your treating practitioner helps maintain clear and consistent medical records.

  • Prescription requests made via our website or through reception are considered requests only and remain subject to approval by your treating doctor or nurse practitioner.

A $25 private fee applies for approved script requests.

In some cases, bulk billing may be available, but this requires a brief telephone consultation with your practitioner to confirm that repeat prescribing is safe and appropriate.

If your request involves new or complex issues, or you require multiple medications, we kindly ask that you book a follow-up appointment so that your concerns can be properly addressed.

Please call 07 4020 5770 and we can discuss your needs together.

Your Nurse Practitioner will take a comprehensive history, review your current symptoms, and work with you to define your treatment goals. Education and support are provided every step of the way.

If appropriate, your NP can prescribe and manage medicinal cannabis. Medicare rebates may apply to NP telehealth consultations depending on eligibility. Please note that rebate rules for Nurse Practitioners are subject to change in late 2025.
