John is an experienced Emergency and Critical Care doctor who now works as a GP in rural Victoria. He has trained with the College of Emergency Medicine (UK) and the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine. Aswell as teaching Emergency Medicine (Oxford and Monash Universities), he has interests in Mental Health, Aged Care, Palliative Care and Endocannabinoid Medicine. 

John is proudly Cornish, coming from the fishing village of Port Wenn, famed by 'Doc Martin'. For fun John enjoys boating, diving, camping, fishing, sailing  and is an active crew member of the Lakes Entrance Coastguard Lifeboat.
